Available in seven shades with a matte finish, this foundation is a blend of vitamins like Vitamins C, E, and B5 to create flawlessly and boosts skin radiance as well as remove imperfection and signs of fatigue.
I have four shades for you to see today, including the two lights and the two darkest:
50 Rose Ivory is a slightly lighter shade than NW15. It is pink with pink undertones.
51 Light Vanilla is slightly lighter than N15. It is a little lighter than. It is neutral with slightly warmer undertones.
55 Dark Beige is like the N30. It is neutral with slightly cool undertones.
56 Light Bronze is slightly lighter than N30. It’s a little darker than. It has neutral undertones.
Please note that they are available in two darker shades available in Europe only: 57 bronze and 58 Caramel.
My skin tone is quite pale right now and I was unable to find the perfect shade. The 50 Rose Ivory can be too pink and 51 is a little too dark! I’d say my skin type is similar to NC10 currently and has orange-yellow undertones.
It’s extremely difficult to find the perfect shade for a fresh-looking complexion when I’m as pale as this. But I’m able to wear shade 51 if I choose to use an edgy self-tanner that offers just enough shade that I can find a Bourjois foundation that fits my skin tone.
I haven’t used this original Healthy Mix foundation, so I’m not able to compare it to this new formulation.
However, I can inform people that this Healthy Mix foundation is a bit different. Healthy Mix foundation isn’t as dry as Healthy Mix Serum, and it gives a little more coverage and radiance for a fresh look for at least 24 hours. Both foundations smell the same fruity scent. I enjoy it!
This is a very light coverage foundation that instantly erases imperfections and gives a natural finish, and can be built up to medium coverage. It looks gorgeous for the complexion! It is possible to apply a second layer if necessary, and it doesn’t look like it’s caked. I prefer applying it using my fingertips as I do with the most glowing foundations.
In case your skin is oily I’d suggest you use an oil-free primer and set it with the lightest sprinkle of powder. In addition, I’ve noticed that if I delay too long before setting it, the foundation begins to sink into my fine lines within a couple of minutes.
My skin looked healthy and shiny at the time I reached 3 hours (with the help of a base and the loose powder) however, it wasn’t terribly oily. I applied a blotting sheet after 4 hours as at this point, my face was oily. The foundation however was stunning and rested a natural glow on my face!
After 8 hours, however, the coverage had become less transparent. It’s as if my skin had drunk certain amounts of foundation and my imperfections didn’t appear to be hidden any longer. I even put it on once for 11 hours and the foundation appeared somewhat smudge-like on my face and around my nostrils.
This means that it’s not the 16 hours stated and I’m sure I need to apply a couple of blotting sheets throughout the day however, for a bourjois healthy mix anti fatigue foundation, and considering my oily skin I’d say 8 hours should be pretty decent!
